Allegiance is an epic story of love, war and heroism set during the Japanese American internment of World War II. Set to Jay Kuo's beautiful and moving score, it foretells the story of the Omura family in the weeks and years following the bombing Pearl Harbor, as they are relocated from their home in Salinas, California to the Heart Mountain internment camp in the wastelands of Wyoming.
Allegiance features Lea Salonga as Gloria Suzuki, George Takei as Old Sam Omura and Telly Leung as Young Sam Omura
Allegiance is scheduled to premiere at The Old Globe Theatre in 2012 prior to a planned Broadway bow.
